Getting In: Class of 2024 (with audio)

KHEAA invites you to use Getting In to help you through the admissions and financial aid processes. It’s easy to use. Marae Mallard of Frankfort High School won the 2022 Promote Your School Scholarship, and she and other Frankfort High School students are seen throughout the pages of this edition.

Chapter 1 provides general information and guidelines you’ll need to begin planning for education or training after high school. An audio version of Chapter 1 is available.

Chapter 2 is devoted to financial aid - money to help you pay for higher education. You’ll find helpful information on how to help finance your college education, what kind of financial aid is available and how you can qualify. You’ll also find useful tips and answers to frequently asked questions. An audio version of the first part of Chapter 2 is available.

Chapter 3 contains information on colleges, universities and trade schools. There’s a wealth of information here, so take the time to look over the different schools and see what each one has to offer.

KHEAA’s Getting In book is our popular resource publication available to students and schools, both online here and in print form. High school students should check with their school counselors and other college access contacts for a copy. School personnel can contact their KHEAA regional outreach counselor to schedule a presentation or workshop.
