Getting In: Class of 2019

KHEAA invites you to use the 42nd edition of Getting In to help you through the admissions and financial aid processes. It's easy to use. John Hendricks of Logan County High School won the 2017 Promote Your School Scholarship, and he and other Logan County students are seen throughout the pages of this edition.

Chapter 1 provides general information and guidelines you'll need to begin planning for education or training after high school. An audio version of Chapter 1 is available.

Chapter 2 is devoted to financial aid — money to help you pay for higher education. You'll find helpful information on how to help finance your college education, what kind of financial aid is available and how you can qualify. You''ll also find useful tips and answers to frequently asked questions. An audio version of the first part of Chapter 2 is available.

Chapter 3 contains information on colleges, universities and trade schools. There's a wealth of information here, so take the time to look over the different schools and see what each one has to offer.

KHEAA's Getting In presentation is available for immediate download and use by school counselors and other college access contacts helping students navigate this popular resource publication. Please free feel to use this presentation on your own with students or to contact your regional outreach counselor to schedule the workshop.
